Maxscape File System Structure

A Maxscape installation consists of the webserver platform part systems namely Apache, Maxdaemon, Perl, Mysql, Mariadb and the Maxscape server directory tree. Each part system is placed in a separate directory under the '/opt' directory:

Locating the platform below the '/opt' directory allows to still use the related tools provided by the operating system. To configure the wanted part systems, use the /maxscape/etc/profile and the ~/.profile files as well as the sp (set project) and the /maxscape/etc/init.d/maxscape (start/stop) scripts.
