Apache

Apache runs with FastCGI and Mod_perl. The build of a pre-compiled Apache is necessary, because of the special requirements for its use with Maxscape. Mod_perl is only used for user authorization.

# Apache start/stop script
/maxscape/etc/init.d/apachectl

# Maxscape start/stop script, that executes Apache's start/stop script.
/maxscape/etc/init.d/maxscape

# Start, restart and stop Maxscape with Apache
> maxscape <start|restart|stop>

The Apache server can be operated independantly from Maxscape, of course.
