Browser Warning and Self Signed SSL/TLS Certificates
Maxscape.com uses a self signed SSL/TLS (Secure Socket Layer)
certificate for communication over HTTPS, to encrypt your password, your account and the communication.
Self signed certificates are not certified by a third organisation
(certificate authority) to confirm, that this website really is Maxscape.com.
So, when requesting the Maxscape.com SSL certificate for the first time, your browser issues a terrifying warning and some browsers refuse to connect completely. With e.g. Firefox you can examine the certificate and allow its use 'exceptionally'. Once accepted, you'll be not ask again.
